Re: RFP for TBBA 2014 Spring Parade of Homes™ Marketing Partner
Update: Changes are highlighted in yellow. Last updated 12/20/2013.

To ensure a successful 2014 Spring Parade of Homes the TBBA is seeking proposals for the partnership of a company who can provide marketing and advertising as well as logistical support to the event. Last year we were proud to have 116 entries. All submissions should be based on at least 100 entries.

As a member driven organization who supports members doing business with members, all proposals must be made by members companies in order to be considered. If you are not currently a member of the TBBA, please contact our office for more information on how to join.

Opportunities for Marketing Partner
The Marketing Partner will be recognized as the Marketing Sponsor for the 2014 Parade of Homes.  This sponsorship is an in-kind sponsorship during the duration of the Parade of Homes and the Awards Banquet. Additionally the Marketing Partner will receive a quarter page spot in the TBBA Barometer during March and April, as the official Parade of Homes Marketing Sponsor. Additionally the media partner would receive a Preferred Listing on the TBBA Member Directory, giving the contact and company large ad space at the top of the list.

In order to develop a generous partnership package, the proposal should include the amount or value of partnership (sponsorship) dollars being donated to the association. We welcome ideas of what TBBA could offer your company as part of the partnership package.  We may also provide you with an extra opportunity to market your business to our membership. Please outline any requests for marketing assistance in your proposal.

Marketing/Advertising
Proposals should demonstrate a successful approach to reach first time, relocating and empty nest homebuyers within a broad spectrum of advertising mediums to include but not limited to print, social media, email marketing, radio and web. Proposals should also include Realtor outreach, QR codes, app development, and press releases to community publications. The marketing strategy will primarily focus on the public but should be attractive to the home builders, encouraging entries into the Parade of Homes.

The Parade’s success depends largely on the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively what is needed and what is to be done in preparation of the event. Candidates must be able to demonstrate project management, effective and efficient communication and ability to share resources via Dropbox.

TBBA operates a large member mail list from which the event can be promoted. It is required that creative content and image files are shared with the TBBA in order to maintain branding and send marketing and notices to members.

As part of the marketing for the event, TBBA owns and operates www.tampabayparadeofhomes.com. This site will host all Parade of Homes entries and a plan for updating the content and look of the website should be included in the proposal.

Additionally, the TBBA along with a Print Media Partner produces a Parade of Homes Guidebook, listing all the entry information as well as advertising. The selected Marketing Partner will work with TBBA to execute a plan for the creation and distribution of the Guidebook.

Data
TBBA will collect the entries along with data and images for each entry. The Marketing partner will need collaborate with the Parade committee, TBBA, a Print Media Partner, possibly radio, and other parties involved in the Parade.

Sponsorships
Promotion of major sponsors for the Parade of Homes and all events associated with the main Parade (such as the kick-off event) are to be included.

Please send your written proposal to the Association by 5:00 p.m., October 14, 2013. A selection committee will review the proposals and may request a formal presentation following submittal.
