Re: RFP for TBBA 2017 Spring Parade of Homes™ Showcase Home Builder 
The 2017 Spring Parade of Homes™ sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA) will feature a home constructed by a “Showcase Home Builder”.  The “Showcase Home Builder” can present an inventory, production model, inventory custom home or attached housing. Or, the Showcase Home Builder can present an entirely new model that has been designed and constructed especially for the 2017 Parade of Homes™. We aim to attract all types of builders, including single and multi-family builders. 

As a member driven organization who supports members doing business with members, all proposals must be made by a member’s company in order to be considered. If you are not currently a member of the TBBA, please contact our office for more information on how to join.

Recognition
The successful bidder to be designated as the “Showcase Home Builder” will realize a tremendous marketing opportunity as the flagship home of the 2017 Parade of Homes™.  The model presented by the “Showcase Home Builder” will be featured as the representing model of the Parade of Homes ™ and will receive additional free promotion through our suite of advertising partners including print and online media.
The Parade of Homes™ reaches the TBBA district of Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco County areas. Online marketing support could reach thousands of additional consumers daily. 

Opportunities for Showcase Home Builder
  • Grey Street Studios will provide a full model home shoot, inside and out along with sunset and twilight photography and a video tour.  This year for the first time a Matterport tour, a brand-new technology, will be included.  (Sample: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=qZBUdWHXoA5)
  • Full color photo of the model by the “Showcase Home Builder” on the cover of the Guidebook

Requirements & Selection
The Showcase Home Builder will be chosen based on the entire package value provided to TBBA including a minimum acceptable bid of $80,000. The home must be located in Pasco, Pinellas, or Hillsborough Counties, must be fully furnished, and be open to the public during the regular hours of the 2017 Parade of Homes™. The model by the “Showcase Home Builder” must be completed no more than 24 months prior to the start of the Parade of Homes and (never occupied). It will also need to some features of interest to the public, e.g., energy efficiency, extensive hurricane protection, unique design features, or other interesting characteristics that would distinguish it from a typical model.

The minimum acceptable bid to TBBA is $80,000.  The Showcase Home Builder will be chosen based on the entire package value provided to TBBA. The Showcase Home Builder will be fiscally responsible for hosting the VIP party the Thursday prior to judging day.

Please send your written proposal to the Association by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016. A selection committee will review the proposals and may request a presentation following submittal.

"Marketing Partner" for 2016 Awards of Excellence

To ensure a successful 2016 Awards of Excellence the Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA) is seeking proposals for the partnership of a company who can provide marketing and advertising. As a member driven organization who supports members doing business with members, all proposals must be made by member companies in order to be considered. If you are not currently a member of the TBBA, please contact our office for more information on how to join.

Awards of Excellence
The Awards of Excellence, hosted by the TBBA Sales and Marketing Council (SMC), is an annual event to award and recognize the top industry sales and marketing professionals in the home building industry. The 2015 event attracted over 340 professionals from all the top home builders in the Tampa Bay area.

Opportunities for Marketing Partner
Based upon the value of services in the submitted proposal a sponsorship package will be tailored for the Marketing Partner. Opportunities include Logo inclusion on marketing materials, TBBA website, social media platforms, and at event.

Submission and Proposal
The Marketing Partnership is an unpaid partnership. The selected partner would need to submit a proposal exhibiting examples of similar work and provide the value of these services. The proposal should include the commitment to produce all of the deliverables listed below along with attendance at monthly committee meetings.
Costs for printing, web promotion or other related materials are separate from this proposal however should be estimated in proposal. In other words, such costs should not be included in the value of this proposal. The committee may ask the marketing partner for recommendations on vendors should the partner have a lucrative relationship with such a vendor.
The marketing strategy will primarily focus on encouraging home builders to submit entries for judging while also boosting awards ceremony attendance. The Marketing Partnership success depends largely on the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively.

Proposals should demonstrate:
- Ability to work with the committee efficiently
- Project management
- Ability to share resources via Dropbox
- Attend select committee meetings
- Communicate AOE’s opportunity for Builders while promoting the fun and excitement of the awards ceremony
- Value of in-kind services
- Estimate of printing, web promotion, and other anticipated expense to be paid by TBBA

Deliverables at a minimum will include:
- Design and development of html emails: Including Call for entries, Save the Date, Invitation, and reminders
- Design of printed collateral: Including Invitations, promotional flyers, sponsorship one-pager, event program and winners list
- Production of images: Social Media promotion and eNewsletter promotion

Overview
Tampa Bay Builders Association requests that your organization submit a proposal to partner with the Association to facilitate a locally generated charitable project for the Tampa Bay Community. The following proposal request will outline the project goals and detail the format in which you should submit your proposal. Please read the timeline carefully. In order for your proposal to be considered, your proposal must meet our deadlines included in the timeline.

Mission
The Tampa Bay Builders Association's Sales and Marketing Council has nearly 300 members and is comprised of sales & marketing professionals doing business related to the building industry in the Tampa Bay Area. Like-minded professionals come together through networking membership meetings, charitable projects, educational seminars, special events, and cooperative marketing & advertising promotions. Through generous donations and event sponsorships to the Sales and Marketing Council of the Tampa Bay Builders Association the organization is intending to "pay it forward" and donate some of our investments to help better our community and the people living here.
 
Project Specifications
The intent of this contribution is to facilitate funding and perhaps labor and other resources to benefit organizations which help individuals or groups in need of assistance and which relate to the homebuilding industry. Projects are geographically limited to Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas Counties in the Tampa Bay, Florida, region.
Charities should include the following information in their proposals for up to $20,000: ● Organization Contact Information (website, mailing address) ● Individual Contact Information (name, email, phone number of company contact person) ● Detailed project information on who or what your organization can help with our donation. Be specific with measurable outcomes. ● Detailed information on what involvement our members can or must have on your process. ● What percentage of our donation goes to direct services ● Scope of Public Relations and exposure can we expected by both of our organizations as we distribute our funds ● Organization’s audited financial information provided upon request ● local Tampa Bay MSA and member organizations preferred

RFP: TBBA's Sales & Marketing Council Website

I. Overview
The Tampa Bay Builders Association's Sales and Marketing Council has nearly 300 members and is comprised of sales & marketing professionals doing business related to the building industry in the Tampa Bay Area. Like-minded professionals come together through networking membership meetings, charity projects, educational seminars, special events, and cooperative marketing & advertising promotions.


II. Project Goals

Our goal is to create a website to increase: awareness of the council within the Tampa Bay
Builders Association; increase membership and member involvement; promote
sponsorship opportunities and overall community involvement.  This website will enable the SMC to improve our processes and communication, both internally and externally, while promoting interaction with members and non-members on the website as well as social media.

Completion of the website should be within 60 days from signed contract.

V. Website Functionality Requirements

●    Content Management System (CMS) - The website must be built on a content management system, preferably WordPress, that allows for all areas of the site (webpages, images, blogs, forms, calendars, etc.) to be easily updated.
●    Responsive Design - The website must be responsive, so that it seamlessly adjusts to fit desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
●   Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - The CMS must include the ability to alter title tags,
                              meta-descriptions, alt tags, and headers. The site must be built to be easily crawled by search                     engines and include a site map that can be easily submitted to search engines.
●    Social Media Integration - The site should include the ability for web content to be shared to social media networks. The organization’s social media networks must be linked to the website to allow for easy  “follows.”
●    Contact Forms The website must include contact form(s). When a visitor fills out the form, the message notification should be sent to appropriate email addresses. Any form(s) should be accessible from the backend CMS user interface and easily export to a database.
●   News and/or Blog The website must include a robust, built-in news/blog platform. This
                             must enable users to create, edit and publish news articles and/or blogs to the website.

●   Hosting The website company must provide hosting with site backup and restore options.

Admin access to the CMS interface must be granted to the TBBA. A Hard copy of the completed website must be provided upon completion. A hard copy must also be provided when requested, for TBBA on-site asset management and backup.
●    Security The CMS system must provide 2 step authentication for users to login. Malware and virus protection for hosting and CMS, must be provided. In the event of an infection, malware and virus removal must be provided in a timely manner to avoid minimum downtime. Hosting must have two layer security protection, including SFTP.

●    Email Marketing The website company must provide email marketing capabilities that are seamless with the website and have the ability to integrate with current email marketing software. The website company must provide one email template that is consistent with website design.
●   Website Analytics - Analytics tracking must be integrated on the site to allow for

website visitor tracking, page tracking, etc.

●    Technical Requirements The website must be built using HTML, PHP and CSS. No use of Flash. The website must compliant with Mac and PC, as well as with the latest two versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

VI. Proposal Format

Vendors should include the following information in their proposals:


●   Company Contact Information (website, mailing address)

●   Individual Contact Information (name, email, phone number of company contact person)

●   Plan for accomplishing project goals, including your ability to provide required website


                    functionality and your vision for the design. Please adhere to the outline above.

●   Detailed Estimate and notes on any exclusions

●    Expectations for content information to be provided by TBBA SMC and format needed to receive such information.
●   Examples of past work that function similarly to this project.


●   References (3 or more, from similar companies/organizations)
